Thomas Keating Obituary

Concord – Thomas H. Keating, 65, of Concord, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Concord Hospital.

Thomas was born July 27, 1958 in North Charleston, SC; son of the late Albert and Dorothy (Brown) Keating.

Tom was kind, generous, and loved people. He enjoyed his family and friends, but also the number of other people that filled his day; he could make easy conversation with really anyone he met. As a Concord Coach Operator for over 25 years, it was clear to anyone he took pride in his work. Through the many miles traveled, he picked up friends wherever he went. For all his time spent on the road, his preferred way to ride would be on his Honda Gold Wing. He was an enthusiast in his knowledge and appreciation of motor vehicles; he always took great care and enjoyed them to the fullest. Tom valued free time and vacations, and filled his time with trips and events with family and friends. He was always available to those who wanted or needed him. Among one of Tom’s favorite talking points was food. He was keen on dining at the best local spots, and would find a gem whenever he was afar. Tom thrived in the camaraderie of being on a team or part of an organization. He was a long time and proud member of the Horace Chase Lodge #72 out of Boscawen, and could be found competing on various candlepin bowling teams throughout the decades. He always showed his support for other people’s endeavors, whether it was a birthday, dance recital, sports game, music gig, wedding day, or just an everyday adventure.

He is survived by: his children Todd Keating and his wife Christina of Concord, Julie Keating of Boscawen, Ryan Driscoll and his wife Amanda Cone of Boscawen, Meghan Look and her husband Chris of Bradford (ME), Brittni Poisson and her husband Mike of Windham, and Devin Russell of Loudon; sister Linda Paradise and her husband Dennis of Deerfield; nephews Michael Trudeau of Hooksett, Clint Trudeau and his wife Ashley of Northwood; grandchildren Tessa, Camden, Oliver, Jackson, Liam, Corran, Adria, Willa, and one more grandson on the way.
