Richard LaFrazia

Richard LaFrazia, 69, beloved husband of Suzanne (Haynes) LaFrazia passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, unexpectedly at his home.

Richard, fondly known as “Richie” was born in Winthrop, MA on June 3, 1954, to the late Anthony and Catherine (Spiralki) LaFrazia. He was a loving family man who had a love of fishing, stargazing, spending time cooking and being with his family. He was the consummate dad, and Grampie, always prepared with a joke, poised to ‘do-it up’ as he would say. He was often doing home projects, perfecting his vegetable garden and at various sporting and life events to cheer on his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his son: Nathan LaFrazia; his two daughters: Amanda Carter, Jessica Hardy, and her fiancé Bob Stone; his two brothers: Anthony LaFrazia and his wife Assunta, Bob LaFrazia, and his wife Loretta; his three sisters: Eleanor Ross and her husband Edward, Patty Gurule and her husband Robert, and Rita Eberling. He also is survived by his five beloved grandchildren: Brea, Paige and Stephen Hardy, and Audrey and Logan Carter; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Richard is predeceased by his brother-in-law: John Eberling.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke from 4pm – 7pm. Services and burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery in Pembroke.
