WEBSTER – Pauline M. (Blanchette) Kienia, 91 of Webster, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
Born on March 5, 1930 in Hopkinton, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Evelyn (Clark) Blanchette.
Pauline worked for many years as a lunch lady for the Webster Elementary School until her retirement at the age of 80. She was very active and independent and could be found bowling or gardening. She enjoyed going camping or reading a good book and was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Webster as well as the Grange.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Harry Blanchette in 1971 and later by her second husband, Anthony Kienia in 2003 as well as five brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her children, Glen Blanchette and his wife Marjorie of Webster, Elaine Lary of Webster, Dunk Cummings and her husband Rick of Webster, Brenda Silver and her husband Les of Webster and Herm Blanchette and his wife Kris of Warner, three sisters, Beverly Andrus, Phyllis Bane and Linda Witham, two step children, Kris Bumford of Henniker and Mike Kienia of KY, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 1:00pm in the Corser Hill Cemetery on Allen Road in Webster. The Petit-Roan Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.petitroan.com
