Paul Taschereau Obituary

LITCHFIELD- On Thursday December 10, 2020 Paul Daniel Taschereau went home to his Heavenly Father after a brief and sudden illness.

Paul was born in Hartford, CT, the son of Michael and Lucille (Lauzier) Taschereau.  His family later moved to New Hampshire, where he began setting the foundation for his future.

Paul had his own construction business, but he was more than just a businessman. He developed long-term friendships with many of his clients.  He was someone that you could always count on to be there for you. If Paul was having a bad day, you would never know because he had such a calm and kind demeanor.

Above all else, he was a loving and devoted husband and father. His family was everything to him and he always put their needs before his own. His grandchildren lit up his world and he loved spending time playing and snuggling with them. He was a selfless man with a heart of gold.  He enjoyed spending time at the beach with his wife and watching the Patriots play and he especially enjoyed watching the Super Bowl. He left this Earth as a faithful man to his marriage, family and business. Paul was so much more than just these words; he was truly a one-of-a-kind man and he will forever be loved and missed by all the people whose lives he touched.

Paul was predeceased by his son, Zachary Saucier who passed away in September 2020.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly (Pelletier) Taschereau; his children, Daniel Taschereau, Amanda Taschereau, Shaina Dennis, Gabrielle Saucier and Alexis Saucier; his brother, Scot Taschereau and his beloved grandchildren:  Kendall Davis, Brayden Arce-Boisvert, Elianna Brautovich, Ariella Sullivan, and Weston Taschereau.  He is also survived by his nephew, Logan Taschereau as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 14th at 11 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown.  Burial will take place at a later date.  All attendees are asked to wear face-coverings and follow social distancing protocols.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be sent to Granite United Way’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, 22 Concord St. Suite 2, Manchester, NH 03101.  Assisting the family with arrangements is the Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com
