PITTSFIELD – Paul R. Drouin, Jr., 62, of Pittsfield, was called home to his Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 3:22am.
Born on July 13, 1959 in Concord, he was the son of Dorothy (Boisvert) Chagnon and the late Paul R. Drouin, Sr.
Paul worked for many years as a painter which he loved doing. He worked side jobs as a chimney cleaner and Power washing buildings for local businesses, he knew how to keep busy. When he wasn’t working, he could be found fishing, watching game shows or asking someone to take him for a drive because he loved watching the wildlife and the trees. He was a longtime member of Joy Church in Pittsfield and he enjoyed listening to preaching and enjoyed praying for others. He enjoyed the many hours he spent with his wife playing bones and Yahtzee.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Lisa Gail Drouin Marcellino and a nephew, Seth Tyler Drouin.
He is survived by his wife Marguerite “Peggy” (Hammerstrom) Drouin of Pittsfield, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage, siblings, Scott Drouin of Pittsfield, John Drouin and his wife Peggy of Epsom, Cynthia Nash of Pittsfield, Twila LeBlanc and her husband Steve of Barnstead, nieces and nephews, Cameryn Drouin, Logan Drouin, Jordan Drouin, Jonathan Drouin, Brandon Drouin, Melissa St. John, Jennifer Landry, Joshua Landry and his wife Kari, Teresa Nash, Katie Nash, Indigo Parker Wearing, Corey Galletly and Jason Letendre as well as great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 10AM-12PM at the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom. A brief funeral service will be held beginning at 12PM and interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Pittsfield.
