Mary A. Kelley, 59, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 with her loving husband and son by her side.
Mary was born May 29, 1962 in Bath, Maine. After graduating from Morse High School, she received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Orono with a double major of Sociology and Political Science. Her career path focused on serving others, from the Concord YMCA, to the Centennial Senior Center to the Family Connection Center where she has served many years as Program Director.
Mary had a deep love of animals, especially dogs, mostly recently Red, who has been right by her side throughout her brave fight with cancer. She was a lot of things to a lot of people – sister, aunt, co-worker, friend – but her main focus and most cherished name was mom. Her passion was her son, Jesse. Throughout his childhood you would find her at every single game, every single practice and always in the front row – usually keeping the books. Most recently she was consumed with the planning of his wedding this fall and had already taken his fiancé, Meg as her daughter.
Mary is survived by her soulmate and husband of 33 years, Karey Kelley; her adored son, Jesse Kelley and his fiancé Meg Hall of Albion as well as a large family that loved her dearly. She was pre-deceased by her beloved parents, Warren & Marjorie McNeil; her cherished father-in-law David Kelley and a son, Keifer.
There will be a Celebration of Life, Saturday, August 14 from 11AM to 1PM at Alan’s Restaurant, 133 North Main Street, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to fit4acause for Breast Cancer, 150 Hopkinton Road, Concord NH 03301.
