Obituary
PEMBROKE – James “Jimmy” Sapienza, 62, of Pembroke passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 18, 2023.
Jimmy was born on November 30, 1960 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, son of the late Salvatore and Wanza Lee (Young) Sapienza.
Jimmy, also went by Sappy and was known for his sense of humor and one liners. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening, scratching lottery tickets, listening to music, spending time with his family or lending a hand to anyone who needed something fixed.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Daniel Sapienza.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Betty St. Germain of Pembroke, whom he reconnected with after 35 years and got to continue their love story, his sons; Marc Sapienza of Derry, Matthew Sapienza and wife Naeleh of Auburn, brother; Stephen of Salem, several nieces and nephews, as well as other family and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4PM to 7PM at The Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. Pembroke. A brief service will be held beginning at 7PM.
