CONCORD- Mrs. Eleanor M. (Auger) Gauthier, 69, of Concord, formerly of Allenstown, passed away at the Pleasantview Healthcare Center on February 23, 2019 after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Florida (Gelinas) Auger. She was raised and educated in Allenstown and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy.
Prior to her retirement, Eleanor was employed as an assembler for General Electric in Hooksett. She also worked as a waitress at Hawaiian Isles Restaurant and as a paramedic for Tri-Town EMS.
Eleanor lived for helping others with everything. She was known for her care packages. She enjoyed crocheting but above all, lived and loved her life to the fullest.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Roger Auger.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Jason of Northfield and her siblings, Mary Couturier of Bedford, Robert Auger of New York and Theresa Goodale of Maine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9th from 10 to 11 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 A.M.
