PITTSFIELD- Earl A. Cook, III, 45, of Pittsfield, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2020.
Born in Morristown, NJ, Earl was the son of Dee (Keller) Truscott of Pittsfield and the late Earl A. Cook, Jr. He was raised in New Jersey before his family moved to New England at the age of 10. He was a graduate of Littleton High School and later obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Granite State College.
For the past 5 years, Earl was employed as a Behavioral Support Specialist for the Franklin School District.
Earl was an avid sportsman. In earlier years, he played basketball and lacrosse. He had a passion for hockey with his sons and coached various youth sports in and around Pittsfield. He enjoyed fishing as well as refurbishing things. His passion for his family stood above all else and he lived his life dedicated to that passion.
He was predeceased by his sister, Chrissy Favino.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Heidi (McKenzie) Cook; his three sons, Owen, Noah and Oliver; his brother, Philip Rivera and his wife Patty of Littleton; his sister, Sharon Todt and her husband Bob of Bedford as well as his nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25th from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. in the Joy Church, 55 Barnstead Rd. in Pittsfield. All attendees are asked to wear face coverings, adhere to social distancing as directed, and are respectfully asked to refrain from physical contact. Due to capacity limitations, his funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for the college education of Earl’s sons.
