Darlene M. Comeau

EPSOM – Darlene M. Comeau, 65, of Epsom, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on May 11, 1956 she was the daughter of the late Donald and Shirley (Pender) Gates.

Darlene was educated in the local schools and went on to work at Globe Manufacturing for several years before finding her true enjoyment in being a stay at home mom and wife. She loved to be active either walking 6 miles a day or helping others anyway that she could, she also liked to go shopping and traveling. Darlene will be remembered for her kind heart and warm smile.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Donna Gates, Lorraine Rudd and Gladys Gates.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy “Tim” Comeau of Epsom, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage, her son Timothy Comeau, Jr. and Jen of Boscawen, siblings, Carol Barrett of Epsom, Ronny Gates and his wife Patty of Epsom, Dicky Gates and his wife Jeannie of TN, Cindy Merrill of Epsom, Debbie Tisbert and her husband Dan of Deerfield, Ricky Gates and his wife Karen of Pittsfield, Billy Gates and his wife Charlene of Hillsboro, Donny Gates, Jr. and his husband Steve Hall of OR, Reggie Gates and his wife Lynn of Farmington, two grandchildren, Amber and Brandon as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Darlene’s Life will be held on Sunday, June 6th from 12PM-2PM at the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom. All guests must wear face-coverings and are encouraged to follow CDC & DHHS Guidelines regarding COVID safety.
