Dale C. Murphy

CHICHESTER- Dale C. Murphy, 66, of Chichester, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 24, 2023 after a long period of declining health.

Born in Weymouth, MA, Dale was the son of Verna E. (Leclair) Murphy and the late Kenneth Murphy.  He was raised and educated in Rockland, MA and was a graduate of Rockland High School.  Dale had been a resident of New Hampshire for the past 45 years.

Prior to his retirement, Dale operated his own business, Tiecast Unlimited.  He later worked as a welder for Pitco for over 9 years.

For over 25 years, Dale was a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Bow.  He enjoyed working with stained glass as well as woodworking, especially cabinetry.  He loved working on cars and traveling.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved wife, Donna M. (Welch) Murphy; his children, Stephen Murphy and his wife Amber of Webster, Tyler Murphy and his wife Alli of Bow, Casey Murphy and his girlfriend Brittani of Manchester, Kirk Hemphill and his wife Crystal of Freetown, MA and Katy Hemphill and her boyfriend Joe of Milford; his brother, Kenneth Murphy and his wife Jul of Randolph, MA; his sister, Kathy Delgado of St. Petersburg, FL; and his beloved grandchildren, Cody, Braydon, Dominic, Veronica and Jimmy.

A Celebration of Dale’s Life will be held on Friday, September 15th from 3-5 P.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dale's name to the Granite VNA Hospice House.
