PEMBROKE – Christopher R. Martin, 48, of Pembroke, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 following a difficult health decline.
Born on December 25, 1972 in Manchester, he is the son of Victor and Noella (Daneault) Martin of Pembroke.
Christopher was educated in the local schools and later enlisted in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a Contractor, wood worker, Master Plumber, Jack of all trades. He was an amazing artist, an avid trumpet player and reader. Chris was an all-around great guy with a charismatic demeanor, he would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Johnson) Martin of Pembroke, his son, LCpl Brandon Martin of United States Marine Corp. stationed in Japan, Jennifer’s children, Zachary Winfrey of Manchester and Meranda Winfrey of Antrim, siblings, Kimmerly Betts and her husband Graham of Allenstown, Victor A. Martin, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Allenstown and Cheryl Ronzio and her husband Richard of Milford, grandchildren, Cameron and Madison as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Christopher’s life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10AM-12PM at the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A Graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:30pm at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans, P. O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
