Bryce Sanborn Obituary

LACONIA - Bryce Adam Sanborn, 18, was born in Concord, NH on May 12, 2004 and passed away suddenly on March 13, 2023 in Concord, NH. He was the beloved son of Amy (Schlottmann) Sohlman and Anthony Sanborn.

Bryce attended school during his earlier years at Barnstead Elementary before moving to Laconia where he attended Laconia Middle School and Laconia High School. Bryce loved and excelled at sports and played baseball, basketball, soccer and later football. He enjoyed snowboarding with his step-father, Pat and adored spending time with his sister, Maya, as well as swimming and kayaking on "the river" in Concord with his dad and family. During his short life, he traveled to Florida and Texas on several occasions, as well as Las Vegas.

The most important thing to Bryce was being true to himself and living life on his terms. He had a big personality, infectious smile and laugh, witty sense of humor and his own unique style. Music was everything to him and he enjoyed all kinds, along with writing music and playing guitar. Bryce had an artistic soul- reading, writing poetry and drawing, and had recently become interested in religion, spirituality and history.

He was predeceased by his uncle, Adam Morse and step-grandfather, Scott Sohlman.

Bryce leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Amy and Patrick Sohlman; his father, Anthony Sanborn; sister, Maya; grandmothers, Lisa Sanborn and Lynne Gauron; aunts, Ashley Schlottmann and Amy Sanborn; uncle, Abraham; cousins, Haden, Brooklyn, Isaac, Aislin and Kiralee; step-grandparents, Kevin Morse (Tracy) and Linda Sohlman and many other extended family members.

His family asks you to celebrate Bryce's life by playing a song in his honor and by always telling those you love, "I love you," as he always did.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm at The Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com.
