Barbara J. Vesey

BARNSTEAD-Barbara J. Vesey, 74, of Barnstead died at home on Monday, November 6, 2023. Born in East Derry, NH on April 5, 1949 the daughter of Donald and Hazel (Woodard) Carey.

She was an active member of the Barnstead American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. Barbara was also passionate about gardening in her spare time.

Besides her parents Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Francis L. Vesey in 2011.

Members of her family include her sons, Troy Fontaine and his wife, Barbara of Barnstead and Todd D. Fontaine; brothers, Donald Carey and his wife, Carol of AZ and Steven Carey of AZ; sister, Elaine Richardson and her husband, Bern; nephews, James Mat Arozzo, John Mat Arozzo and Scott Carey; niece, Tammy Mickelson and her husband, James and Barbara’s dog, Rusty.

A graveside service will take place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Hwy Boscawen, on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 12pm. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Barnstead Elementary, ATTN: Heidi Duford, 242 Suncook Valley Rd Alton, NH 03809, memo line "In Memory of Barbara Vesey."
