EPSOM - William "Bill" G. Kelley, 67, of Epsom, NH passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, December 18, 2023 after a battle with cancer. Born in Concord, NH on April 6, 1956, the son of John and Shirley (Beckert) Kelley.
He attended local schools and graduated from Pembroke Academy. Bill started at a young age working at the Kimball farm with "Butch" Kimball and learned his work ethic from there. He worked with his brother, Ray doing Sheetrock. He worked at New England signal system and was known as the human backhoe. He ended up going to work for Dail Transportation (now known as STA) where he was a mechanic and did some beautiful restorations on vehicles for the owners. He was still working there at the time of his passing and took great pride in the safety of the pupils that he was responsible in transporting.
When Bill was not working, you would find him splitting wood for the next winter or doing some landscaping. He and his wife also loved spending their time up north, either fishing or just spending time together. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Members of his family include his soulmate, best friend and wife, Claudette Kelley; daughter, Angela "Angie" Adcock and her lifelong partner, Vinnie Carone; son, Joshua Kelley; step-son, Charles Jarest, Jr. and his wife Jenn; step-daughter, Chelsea Chagnon and her husband, Richard; grandchildren, Miranda Adcock and Charlie Adcock, IV, Sophie and Vance Chagnon and Soren Jarest; brothers, Kenneth Kelley and his wife, Phyllis, Ray Kelley and his wife, Brenda; sisters, Cindy Dabne, Elizabeth Kelley and Carol Burestin and her lifelong partner, Ron Smith; father-in-law, Roland Lamy, Sr. and wife, Joyce; mother-in-law, Claire Boyd; sister-in-law, Denise Lamy and lifelong partner, George McCarthy; brother-in-law, Roland Lamy, Jr. and wife, Eileen; several nieces, nephews and good friends.
Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 10am to 12pm in The Roan Family Funeral Home-Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.
