Violetta V. Monastyrskaya, 21, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 2, 2016, at her home on Buck Street. Before her move to Pembroke, Violetta had spent her first 5 years in Russia, where she was born on March 24, 1995. She was a graduate of Pembroke Academy and had worked for several companies as a cashier or sales clerk, especially enjoying her 3 years spent at Market Basket. She enjoyed art, drawing, and music and was an avid reader. Violetta is survived by her parents, Sam and Oksana Drye of Pembroke; her sister, Sophia Drye of Pembroke; and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Louise Magoon of Hill. Family and friends are gathering Wednesday evening, April 13th from 6-8 PM at the Epsom Bible Church, 398 Blackhall Road in Epsom. Burial will take place later in the spring in the Hill Village Cemetery.
