HOOKSETT- Mrs. Viola B. (Demers) Carrier, 93, of Hooksett, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a long illness on July 4, 2022. Born in Pembroke, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Esther (Levesque) Demers. She was raised and educated in Suncook before moving to Hooksett, where she resided for over 70 years. Viola was a longtime communicant of Holy Rosary Parish in Hooksett. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening, cooking and baking, puzzles of all kinds, crocheting and traveling with her husband. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Wilfred Carrier and her siblings, Violet, Larry, Donald, Rita and Elsie. She is survived by her four children: Diana Fortin of Hooksett, Roger Carrier of Hillsboro, William "Bill" Carrier of Northfield and Teri Carrier of Manchester. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11th from 9 to 10:30 A.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church in Hooksett. Burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
