Mrs. "Vicki" (Mary H.) Kneeland, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Granite VNA Hospice House. Born in Concord on December 7, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harold W. and Barbara P. (Keyes) Howe. Vicki grew up in Bow and graduated from Concord High School. Besides her parents, Vicki was predeceased by her beloved husband, Asher S. Kneeland, her two sisters, and many friends. Vicki worked for many years at Allenstown Elementary School first as an aide then became the Art Teacher at the Armand Dupont Middle School. After retirement, she was a substitute teacher not retiring completely until the age of 75. Vicki loved being with family and friends, rescued any cat that needed a loving home, enjoyed feeding and watching the neighborhood birds and squirrels, cooking, any type of art project and was an avid reader. The Suncook Methodist Church was her home away from home. She sang in the choir, served on many church boards and until just a few years ago served at their famous Saturday night suppers. She is survived by her son, Mark Kneeland and his wife Wendy, her daughter, Barbara O'Brien Lane and her husband Christopher, four grandchildren, Rachel, AJ, Kelly and Kerrie, and four great grandchildren, Faye, Guy, Carter, and Camden. Per her wishes there are no services scheduled. It was her request to donate her body to science with Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Suncook United Methodist Church, PO Box 175, Pembroke, NH 03275.
