It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Thomas F. Parent, Sr. who passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

He was born on June 18, 1937, in Springfield, MA; son of the late Oscar J. and Catherine (Ward) Parent. Thomas was educated in the local schools, following graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Tom was employed with General Electric for over 25 years before his retirement.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Leon, Joseph, Harold, Ernest and Albert Parent and his sisters, Agnes O’Connor and Marie Fleming.

He is survived by his wife Eleanor H. (Pingree) Parent of Pembroke. Their children, Thomas Parent and his wife Michelle of Chichester, Angela Touchette and her husband Tom of Epsom, Steven Parent and his wife Darlene of Pembroke, Mary O’Connell and her husband William of Germany, Michael Parent of Pembroke, Beverly Sobel and her husband Erik of Concord, Daniel Parent and his wife Tiffany of Concord and Timothy Parent of Pembroke, ten grandchildren, Danielle, Jason, Sarah, Jacob, Carissa, Shannon, Ava, Caleb, Sophie and Zoey, great grandchildren, Lydia, Charlotte, Douglas, Rylee, Isaiah, Connor and Ainsley as well as many nieces and nephews.

Thomas’ great loves where his beloved wife Eleanor of 66 years, serving in the United States Air Force in Ramstein Germany, driving his Honda Goldwing with sidecar, John Wayne movies and trains. He above all cherished time with his family.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2PM to 4PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday October 5, 2026, at 9:30AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Allenstown.
