HOOKSETT – Mrs. Theresa A. Chevrette, 90, of Hooksett, passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
She was born on October 19, 1935, in Hooksett, the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Campbell) Courchesne. Theresa was educated in the local schools; she worked for many years doing textile work with Hampshire Designers; she was also a former member of Hooksett Entertainers. She enjoyed gardening and listening to music. She spent many hours volunteering for different places and willfully helping her neighbors.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her daughters significant other, Charlene Mitchell; two sisters, Bernadette Chevrette and Jeanne Levasseur, three brothers, Philip, Arthur and Douglas Courchesne and nephew, Reggie Mudge.
She is survived by her husband, Gerard Chevrette of Hooksett with whom she shared 73 years of marriage; son, Paul Chevrette of Hooksett and daughter, Beatrice Whitney of Concord, one brother, Armand Courchesne, three grandchildren, Kenneth Chevrette and his wife Jackie, Brian Chevrette and his wife Carolyn and Justin Chevrette and his significant other, Nicolle, six great grandchildren, Zachary, Peyton Rose, Alex, Kiera, Landon and Sophie as well as a loving niece, Priscilla Mudge.
In accordance with her wishes, there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 10AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hooksett. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa’s memory to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
