MANCHESTER – Steven Kenneth Krejckant Sr., 62, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Elliot Hospital.
Born on December 13, 1963, in Chicago, IL, Steven was the son of the late Kenneth Steven Krejckant Sr. and Phyllis Marie (Krimmel) Krejckant. He was the beloved husband of 38 years to Brenda Lee (Anderson) Krejckant, whom he married on August 28, 1987.
Steven proudly served in the United States Army from 1981 to 1985. Following his military service, he began a career as a mechanical engineer, starting at Carol Cable in Manchester. After several years there, he went on to work for a number of other local businesses, earning a reputation as a dedicated and hardworking professional. Most recently, Steven was employed by the United States Post Office in Manchester, having transferred from the Nashua branch. Throughout his career, he took great pride in his work and remained deeply committed to providing for his family.
Steven found great joy in fishing, patiently catching many different species and always releasing them back into the water. Brenda often accompanied him on these outings, reading a good book while Steven stood by the water, waiting for his next catch and simply enjoying their time together. Their favorite place was along the Merrimack River in Manchester, a spot they affectionately referred to as "the love spot," where they shared quiet moments and simple happiness.
Above all else, Steven cherished time spent with his family, especially his beloved children. He will be remembered as a devoted family man—a loving provider who was hardworking, dedicated, and fiercely loyal to those he loved.
Steven believed deeply in leaving a legacy, living with purpose, and never, ever giving up. This belief guided the way he lived his life—with quiet strength, perseverance, and determination—and it continues to live on through the family he loved and the example he set.
In addition to his wife, Brenda, Steven is survived by his children, Sherry Krejckant and her partner, Richard Frederick, Steven Kenneth Krejckant Jr. and his wife, Alicia Young and Skye Doucette and her husband, Jeffrey; grandson, Jeffrey Doucette Jr.; brothers, Kenneth Krejckant Jr., Robert Krejckant and his wife, Tammy and Jimmy Krejckant and his wife, Kim; several nieces and nephews; and beloved cats, Dexter and Sweet D.
A Celebration of Steven's Life will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 5:00PM at the Faith Tabernacle Church, 164 East Side Drive, Concord, NH. Steven will be interred at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at a later date.
