Obituary

CONCORD – Stacey N. H. Ulmanis, 43, of Concord, passed away surrounded by love on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Granite VNA Hospice House following years of health battles and lots of courage and fight. Stacey was born on July 4, 1981, earning her the lifelong nickname "Firecracker" from her mother. She is the daughter of Debra (Boisvert) Ulmanis and the late Peter Ulmanis. She was raised and educated in Concord, a graduate of Concord High Class of 1999. Stacey went on to St. Joseph's College in Maine where she earned her bachelor's in theology, cum laude; she continued her education receiving her master's in theology as well. From a young age, Stacey was very involved in her home church, she started singing in the choir at Sacred Heart Parish in Concord and then moved over to St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. She was the head of the decorating committee while at Sacred Heart Parish. She was sure to welcome new members and was always keeping up with her choir friends. She was a kind and generous soul, if you needed something she was always there. For years Stacey would bring boxes upon boxes to the Roan Family Funeral Home school supply drive, one year it was over 15 boxes, but she never wanted credit for any of it. We will miss her smile, her laugh, her hugs and her waving us off when we would say we were worried about her. Besides her Mom, she is survived by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Hanley of Concord, with whom she shared 5 years, her brother, Karl Ulmanis and his wife Laura Slingerland of California, MD, two uncles, a great uncle and her godfather, Rudy Begin as well as several cousins, friends and choirmates through the years. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 10AM-11AM at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11AM. Interment will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 10AM at the Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord. The Roan Family Funeral Home in Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements.
