PENACOOK - Sharon A. Woods, 77, of Penacook passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Concord Hospital after a long brave battle with medical conditions. Sharon was born in Concord on December 28, 1945, the daughter of William and Anita (Vezina) Stolte. Sharon lived and worked in the Penacook area most of her life; and loved driving up to her camp on Israel River in Jefferson on weekends. Retired from MCNH in Boscawen, she filled her days with baking, trips to Wellington State Park, bringing goodies to her grand-dog, gardening, family dinners, crafting, more baking, visiting friends, her 2 cats, taking her Mom for Sunday drives and lunches at new places, reading and puzzles and then some more baking. She will be remembered for her quick humor and infectious laugh, her outgoing demeanor and can-do attitude, and mostly for her fierce devotion and loyalty to those she loved and cared for. Sharon was predeceased by her father, William Stolte, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Anita (Vezina) Stolte; daughter, Stacey DeVol of Loudon; grandson, Seth DeVol of Loudon; son, Sean Conlon of TN; grandson, Jack Conlon of TN; grand-dog; Ruger of Loudon; brother, William Stolte, Jr. of TN; so many extended relatives and a host of friends and neighbors that she considered family.
