Danvers – Sharon M. Ramsey, 79, of Danvers, formerly of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Beverly Hospital in Beverly, MA.

She was born in Bangor, ME on June 3, 1947; daughter of the late Ernest Cleavitt and Pearl (Violett) Hannaford. When Sharon was 3, she lost her hearing due to a childhood illness but she never let that stop her from doing what she wanted to do. She attended the Baxter State school for the death in S. Portland and later W. Hartford High School for the deaf. In her teenage years she moved to Manchester where she remained until 2009 when she relocated to Danvers. Sharon enjoyed going for walks and hikes, sewing and doing puzzles.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Linda Hasseltine and her two stepbrothers, Ernie and Wayne Young.

She is survived by her children, Tabitha Ramsey of Manchester and John Ramsey and his wife Jennifer of New Boston, one brother, John Cleavitt, three grandchildren, Ariel Torres, Nolan and CJ Ramsey, one great granddaughter, Olivia Ringers as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
