Sandra Lee Appleton, 84, of Manchester, passed away at Hackett Hill Center on July 1, 2026. 

She was born on January 15, 1942 in Brunswick, ME, daughter of the late Melville Charles Appleton and Louise Walker Appleton. Sandra was a 1960 graduate of Sharon High School in Massachusetts and a 1963 graduate of the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing.

She enjoyed a long career as a registered nurse at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. She also enjoyed traveling with friends and spending time at the beach. Survivors include a brother, Gary Appleton and wife Beverly of Sautee Nacoochee, GA; nieces Amanda Appleton-Wetli and husband Joe Wetli of Dublin, OH and Dr. Charlotte Appleton and husband Kevin Claypool of Nacogdoches, TX; and 3 great nephews. She also leaves behind several devoted friends who have been by her side for many years.
