CONCORD- Ruth K. Sargent, 79, of Concord, formerly of Allenstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 23, 2025. Born in Exeter, Ruth was the daughter of the late Dorothy May (Cowdrey) Lagor. She was raised and educated in Bow and was a graduate of Concord High School. Prior to her retirement, Ruth was employed by Universal Packaging as a factory worker. She later transitioned into secretarial work for Graphic Packaging. Ruth loved to play bingo. She also enjoyed bowling, watching gameshows, puzzles, reading romance novels, writing poetry, gardening and listening to country music. Her forgiving and compassionate nature was second to none and her ability to be positive even in the most difficult of times was admired greatly by all who loved her. In addition to her mother, Ruth was predeceased by her sister, Rose Erlenwein. She is survived by her two daughters: Katherine Cheney and Bonnie Greenough both of Concord and her brother, William Dio of Bow. She is also survived by her 5 beloved grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 2nd at 10 A.M. in the Alexander Cemetery, River Rd. in Bow.
