Gilmanton Iron Works – Russell R. Gardner, 43, of Gilmanton Iron Works, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 8, 2025. He was born on December 18, 1981 in Manchester, son of the late Paul Gardner and Rhonda (Paradie) Gardner. Russ, as he was known by family and friends, had a personality larger than life. He loved cracking jokes and making others laugh, but his laugh always made you laugh even more. Russ loved his family, his dogs and being at home working on projects. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, tinkering with his cars or his sound systems. He could be found riding his motorcycle in the summer, racing his car or out in the woods shooting. Russ is survived by his wife Krysta (Kuchinsky) Gardner with whom he shared 20 years of marriage; his two children, Dylan and Alana; brother, Jeffrey Gardner and his fiancé, Jill Matthews of Brentwood; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Codie and Kayli and great nephews, Bradley, Bentley and Wesley. A private celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Roan Family Funeral Home in Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements.
