Obituary

Boscawen – Ronald Arthur Fowler, Jr. (66) of Boscawen, NH tragically passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, after the home he lived in caught fire. Ronald or Ron as he preferred to be called, was born on December 6, 1958, in Belton, Tx, to parents Ronald A. Fowler, Sr. and Shirley Ann Fowler. His parents raised him and his two sisters in Hampton, NH where he attended Winnacunnet High School. He eventually went on to have 4 children of his own. With goals of bettering the lives of he and his children, he decided to enroll in courses at Manchester Community College where he earned his associate's degrees in computer engineering, networking and coding, computer science and advanced software development. After relocating to Boscawen, he continued his education at NHTI and went on to receive an HVAC design certificate and his ASE certification in Mechanics. His thirst for knowledge was profound! It was important for him to maintain his exceptional grades and continue to develop new skills. This served him well, giving him the ability to be versatile in many fields of work. Ron also had many hobbies. He enjoyed camping, hiking, kayaking, swimming, 4 wheeling and motorcycle riding just to name a few. When his children were young, he loved to take them camping in the White Mountains. One of his favorite places to take them camping was on the Saco River in Bartlett, NH. He would also take them swimming quite often. Whether it was the pool at the YMCA, or to the Steele Hill resort, he always found joy in being a big kid in the water with his kids. When he eventually became a grandpa, he realized his true calling, his grandchildren brought him so much happiness. He would spend hours on end playing with them. He poured his whole heart into being the best grandpa imaginable and he was! He loved them so much and he enjoyed every moment he spent with them. Ron was a wonderful man, and a kind and gentle soul. He was always willing to help anyone, whether he knew them or not. His circle was small, but if you were lucky enough to be in it, you experience loyalty, love and kindness that was unwavering. To know him was to love him! The loss of this wonderful man will weigh heavy on the hearts of his family and friends for the rest of their lives. Ron is survived by his oldest daughter, Sara Maxwell of West Palm Beach, FL; his son, Ronald A. Fowler, III of Concord; his daughter, Chrystal Fowler-Griffith and her husband Kirby of Penacook; and his daughter Breanna Martel of Salisbury, MA; his three grandchildren, Jalissa Maxwell, Sienna Griffith and Avery Fowler as well as his great grandson, Jonah Maxwell also his sister, Janah Fowler-Trent and her husband Alex of Kittery, ME; and his youngest sister, Kathy Fowler-Parenteau and her husband Dennis of McClenny, FL.
