CHICHESTER - Robert "Bob" G. Sykes Jr. of Chichester, NH passed away peacefully at the age of 64 on Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by so much love from his family. A man who lived by simplicity, Bob found joy in the quiet moments and the things that truly mattered. He loved riding his three wheeler, trapping, playing guitar, listening to music, and spending time in the woods on the land he cherished at his home on Webster Mills Road. Most of all, Bob loved his family deeply and treasured every moment with them. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vicki Riel Sykes as well as his children, Molly Barrett (Tyler Barrett), Robert Sykes, and Heidi Clifford (Doug Clifford); his beloved grandchildren, Evan and Emma Barrett, Beau Sykes, and Dawson and Hudson Clifford; his brothers, Rick (Paula) and Dave (Missy) Sykes; and a lifelong friend who was like a brother, Gene Ladd. Bob is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Sykes, and many loved ones lost along the way. True to who he was, Bob wished not to have any formal services. He asked to be cremated, with his ashes spread at the places he loved most. To honor Bob, take some time to do something you think he would love and imagine he's right there with you. Bob loved to do good deeds any chance he could. Let's fill his shoes and help wherever we can. A man who has touched the lives of so many, Bob leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and strength. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him.
