PEMBROKE - Robert "Bob" D'Alessandro, 87, of Pembroke, passed away at Epsom Healthcare Center on September 8, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson's. Bob was born in Oceanside, NY to Anthony and Irene (Bonagura) D'Alessandro. Bob and Mary grew up together and wed in 1959. Together they raised four children. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish. He also loved traveling with his family. Bob had a 20+ year career in the NYPD before moving to Deerfield, New Hampshire. He joined the Deerfield Police Department and was the chief of police for many years before retiring in 1995. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary of 64 years; his four children, Robin (Steve), Mike (Debbie), Thomas, Michelle (Ron); 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
