On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Robert “Bob” Bergevin at 96 years old, passed away peacefully with his two children at his side.

Born April 9, 1930, in Allenstown, NH to William and Gladys (Nason) Bergevin. He grew up in Suncook, NH, graduating from Pembroke Academy in 1949. He completed the University of New Hampshire Horticultural Program in 1952.

He married his high school sweetheart, Marilyn Hillman, in 1952. He served in the US Army, stationed in Germany, from 1952 to 1954. After returning to NH for several years, he and Marilyn started their first greenhouse business in Massachusetts in 1957 and worked side by side for many years, eventually returning to their roots in NH in 1979 to be closer to family. Upon retirement, he learned to play guitar and later began performing in a country western band at local events, such as the Deerfield Fair. He also restored 5 Model A Fords and enjoyed being a member of the Model A Ford Club.

Bob lived a life rooted in hard work and honesty, quietly instilling those traits in his two children, Roberta and William. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Ernest; and his wife, Marilyn. He is survived by his daughter, Roberta; his son, William; and his sister, Pauline. He will be missed by all the family and his close circle of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00AM at Buck Street Cemetery, 701 Bachelder Road, Pembroke, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Candia Volunteer Fire Department or the New Hampshire Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
