ALLENSTOWN- Mrs. Rita G. (Dallaire) Armstrong, 94, of Allenstown, passed away on June 5, 2022 in the care of the Granite VNA Hospice House after a period of declining health. Born in Manchester, Rita was the daughter of the late Henry and Corona (Pinard) Dallaire. She was raised in Manchester and had been a resident of Allenstown for the past 25 years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a housekeeper for Concord Hospital. In earlier years, she worked as a waitress, chambermaid and mill-worker. She was a longtime communicant of St. John the Baptist Parish in Allenstown. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Rita was predeceased by her husband, Calvin E. Armstrong and two children: George Armstrong and Helene Hanks. She is survived by two sons, Ernie Lemay of Bedford and Dave Lemay of Florida. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several siblings and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown.
