CONCORD- Richard E. Laverdure, 68, of Concord, passed away at Concord Hospital on April 10, 2022 following a period of declining health. He was born on June 28, 1953 in Manchester, son of the late Dollard and Bernadette (Rheault) Laverdure. Richard enlisted in the United States Navy out of high school and served his country during the Vietnam War. He was from the Woodstock era and loved Aerosmith and the Grateful Dead. Richard enjoyed fishing trips, keeping to himself and his cat Jackie. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his longtime partner, Rita Mae Ersch, a sister, Marie Marcelle Laverdure and his two cats, Jill and Haley. Richard is survived by his children: Shaun Laverdure, Michelle Laverdure, Erin LaRoche and her husband John; his siblings, Jean Laverdure of Concord, Marc Laverdure of Pembroke, Pierre Laverdure of Pittsfield, Monique Laverdure of Concord, Lise Fleuette and her husband Joe of Easton, CT, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 28th at 12 Noon at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
