Richard Floyd Hart passed away peacefully on March 16, 2022, at his home in Bow NH, surrounded by his family. Born in Buffalo, New York, on August 24, 1947, Dick grew up in White Plains, New York, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Long Island University. He pursued a sales career in the financial industry and served in the United States Marine Corp Reserves. Dick and his wife, Elizabeth Hart (nee Carey), raised their family in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, before retiring in New Hampshire. As a youth, Dick was a Star scout. He was dedicated to Boy Scout leadership throughout his life. An avid golfer, Dick also lent his time to coaching little league baseball and soccer, sang in the choir of his church, Wesley United Methodist of Concord, NH and served on several church committees. Dick was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Ruth Hart, and survived by his wife, Elizabeth, children Matthew and his wife Rachel, and Carolyn Winters and her husband Brian, as well as his brothers Douglas and his wife Rae, William, and Henry and his wife Mary, and many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews. Dick was a kind and loving man and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank the Bow Fire Department and the Granite VNA for help and care for Dick. A memorial service will be held on March 20, 2022 at 1pm at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Concord, NH.
