PITTSFIELD – Richard M. Gravilla; 39 of Pittsfield, passed away due to complications due to diabetes, on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was born on May 7, 1986, in Pontiac, MI; son of James and Debbie (Moffatt) Towle. Rich worked for many years in road construction, traffic details. He was known for always putting others first, valuing his family, snowboarding and dirtbike riding in his younger years, he was extremely social, loved listening to music and having nice cars to drive. He was kind and generous, had a big heart, a quick wit and a great sense of humor that would light up a room. He was predeceased by a stepbrother, Miles Towle. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Melissa Gravilla and Carrie Beaton and her husband Derek; his stepbrother, Keith Towle, nieces, Caroline, Cassidy, Juliana and Elizabeth, one nephew, Colby, Uncle and Aunt, Richard and Linda Moffatt and numerous friends. Rich always loved this quote: "Anything lost can be found except time wasted." Cherish every precious moment. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
