CONCORD - Richard D. Denis, 82, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Concord on June 29, 1941 to the late Ernest and Alice Denis. Richard served in the U.S. Navy, was a part time police officer for the town of Allenstown and retired from New Hampshire State Hospital as an engineer. He loved his pets, Sandra Dee, and leaves behind his faithful cat, Dot. Richard is survived by his three children: Eric Denis and his wife Tacey Weir, David Denis and his wife Rosa, Mark Denis and his wife Keri; his nine grandchildren: Whitney Denis, Sean Denis, Lauren Denis, Nicholas Denis, Betty Weir, Samantha Weir, Benjamin Denis, Alyssa Denis, Jarod Denis; and his two great grandchildren: Collin and Jacob Hallum. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen at 10 AM.
