Hooksett – Raymond E. Tessier, 80, of Hooksett formerly of Brownfield, ME, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 with his family by his side.

He was born on June 14, 1944 in Lowell, MA, son of the late William E. and Gertrude (McNamara) Tessier.

Ray was educated in the local Lowell schools and went on to Lowell Trade School earning a certificate in Carpentry. He worked for over 30 years with the Carpenter’s Local Union #49 until his retirement. Ray enjoyed being in the outdoors, visiting Wells, ME, going kayaking and skiing, he was an avid New England Sports Fan and loving on animals of all kinds, he gave of his time to help others, serving meals to others during the holidays for many years at Brown Church in Conway. Ray was very social and enjoyed parties and spending time with others, especially his family. TRUMP2024

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Tessier. Raymond is survived by his children, Brian S. Tessier and his wife Wanda of Lakewood, CO, Kim Ratnoff and Dave Ratnoff of Hooksett, sister, Carole M. Tessier of Nashua, grandchildren, Katie Lynn Swindall and her husband Justin, Sophie Anne Tessier and Joshua Nathan Ratnoff as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
