CONCORD - Raymond H. Sylvester, 47, of Concord, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 24, 2022. Born on September 20, 1974 in Claremont, he was the son of Raymond W. Sylvester of Concord and Joyce (Greenwood) Broomall of Alfred, ME. Ray worked for many years as a Chef and even a Chef Manager at Verano's in Wells, ME and later at several restaurants in Old Orchard Beach. It was a career he was extremely good at. More recently he had taken employment as a flagger with ADA Traffic Control where he was able to work side by side with his father. Besides cooking, Raymond enjoyed being outdoors for hiking, camping, trips to the beach and all water sports. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sons, Quintin R. Sylvester and Mason J. Sylvester of Gardiner, ME, brother, Shon M. Sylvester and his wife Tonya of Old Orchard Beach, ME, nephews, Cain and Michael Sylvester and uncle, Ralph L. Sylvester of Ruskin, FL.
