PEMBROKE- Paul D. Desrosiers, born on December 22, 1946, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, passed away with his family by his side on November 12, 2024, at the age of 77, after a tumultuous six-month battle with a rare cancer.
Paul was predeceased by his mother, Simone; father, Herve; and sister, Nancy.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy; his daughter, Sherri Cote and her husband Gerard; his stepdaughters, Kelly Snair and her husband Robert, and Traci Arnold and her husband Michael; his grandchildren, Alissa Cote, Madison Chown and her husband Colby, Robert Snair, Jr., Kassidy Snair, Kaelyn Snair, and Ryan Arnold; his great-grandchildren, Aria, Cali, Lucas, Camden, Carter, and Kinsley; and his nieces and nephews, Alison, Glenn, Hailey, Max, and Ryan.
As a proud veteran of the US Army, Paul worked at the VA hospital as a master electrician for 33 years and was an active member of the VFW and American Legion in Suncook, NH, where he resided for his entire life.
Paul and Dorothy shared countless adventures, including annual visits to the Dominican Republic, his favorite island. Paul found joy in the culture of the Caribbean and shared his kind heart by bringing supplies to children in need during their travels.
Even while battling cancer, his witty sense of humor always remained intact. Paul's family will always remember how courageously he fought this battle, never giving up hope or his positive attitude.
A dedicated family man, Paul always jumped to the aid of a loved one in need. He took great pride in providing for his family. His unwavering selflessness will always be cherished by those closest to him.
Services will be private, per Paul's request. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Sarcoma and Bone Cancers Division, honoring his valiant fight against cancer.
