DEERFIELD – Paul A. Asselin, 85, of Deerfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Granite VNA Hospice House with his loving family by his side. He was born on Sept. 8, 1940, in Lincoln, son of the late Arthur and Antonette (Fornier) Asselin. From 1959 to 1963 Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Upon his return Paul went on to earn his degree in Business Administration from UNH Durham. He worked hard and through the years owned and ran several businesses, A & A Alarms, Ansaphone of Manchester, A & A Enterprises, Jupiter Alarms and Skycom to name a few. Paul loved to be out in the woods, cutting down trees, driving his tractor or just taking a walk. Over the years he raised pigs and even had a goat, he loved animals of all kinds especially his Dobermans. He was quite handy having remodeled six homes in Deerfield, in his younger years he enjoyed gardening and loved hosting everyone for a bbq. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his siblings, Maurice Asselin, Claire Mulleavey and Roger Asselin. He is survived by his wife, Judith A. (Painter) Asselin of Deerfield, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage; daughters, Michelle Damour and her husband Kevin and Danielle Ruais; four grandchildren, Anna and Noah Ruais and David and Michael Damour as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Northwood with a reception to follow. Burial will take place in the spring in Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Granite VNA Hospice, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301. The Roan Family Funeral Home -Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom is assisting the family with arrangements.
