BARRINGTON - Patricia Ann Hanson, 68, of Barrington formerly of Pembroke, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 following a courageous battle with Interstitial Lung Disease. She was born on July 26, 1954 in Brunswick, ME, daughter of the late Clifton and Charlotte (Bryant) Piper. Patricia was a graduate of Timberlane Regional High School in Plaistow, NH and went on to earn her Associate's degree in Radiology Technology from NHTI working for many years as an Xray technician, most recently at Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, her children and grandchildren brought her the greatest joy she ever knew, she cherished every moment she spent with them. She was a doting dog mom to her yellow lab, Willow who is still patiently awaiting Patricia's return home. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Robert Piper. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Paul Hanson of Barrington, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage, children, Erik Hanson and his wife Lindsey of N. Andover, MA, Steven Hanson and his fiance Sara Bagley of Pembroke and Charilyn Gauntt and her husband Nathan of Barnstead, sister, Peggy Hood of N. Carolina, grandsons, Conner Hanson, Mason Hanson, William Hanson and Cole Bagley, niece, Tori Jones and Nephew Jonathan Esten. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4PM-6PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St, Pembroke. A brief service will begin at 5:30PM in the funeral home.
