PITTSFIELD - Norman L. Gagnon, age 78, of Pittsfield, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 surrounded by his family. Born on September 3, 1947, in Concord, NH, Norman spent his lifetime dedicated to his family and serving his community through his work. Norman was a hardworking and skilled individual who spent his career in the heating industry. He worked for Eastern Propane in Loudon, NH until his retirement. Outside of work, Norman had a passion for motorcycles. He loved the freedom and excitement that came with hitting the open road. But above all, what mattered most to Norman was his family. He cherished his children and grandchildren loved spending quality time with his family. He was predeceased by his brothers, Roland Gagnon and Willis Glidden. Members of his family include his wife, Gail (Penney) Gagnon; sons, Norman "Sam" Gagnon and his wife, Rhonda and Mikey Gagnon and his wife, Melody; daughter, Christina Burgess and her husband, Matt; grandchildren, Tyler, Derek, Hayley, Logan, Emilee, Michael, Caleb, Aiden and Emma; 6 great-grandchildren and his siblings, George, Mary, Loretta, Raymond and Skip. A private graveside service with Military Honors will take place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
