Myrta Therese Gage 84, of Pembroke died April 12, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Myrta, was born on June 21, 1937 in Basel, Switzerland. She was the daughter of Paul Nepomuk and Emma Rose (Kuhn) Utinger. She came to America and resided in Berlin NH since 1958 and later moving to Pembroke, NH in 1998. She was predeceased by her husband Atty Earl F Gage in 1997. Myrta, was a trained Waldorf and Montessori School teacher. Myrta, enjoyment in life was her family and of course her birds. She would always make sure there was plenty of seed outdoors in the feeders or the porch rails year round for her feathered friends. Myrta's love of animals extended to the neighbors dogs and cats. Where they knew that Myrta, would always feed them when they came by. The story of Myrta's life would not be complete without mention of her ability to care for all her house plants everything bloomed. She had the knack of acquiring plants that had little life left and revive them into succulent beauties around her home. She had a love for classical music and she would play Mozart, continuously thru her day. Recently her son Earl, had contacted a pilot with a private plane to take his Mom up. It was not only a ride but she took the controls of the plane. It all came back to her quickly since she too had a private pilot license like her husband years ago.
