PEMBROKE - Monique Laverdure, 68, of Pembroke, NH died at the Monadnock Community Hospital on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 after a long period of declining health. Born on February 20, 1955 in Manchester, NH. She spent most of her life living in Pembroke, NH. She was the daughter of Dollard Laverdure and Bernadette (Rheault) Laverdure. Monique was a graduate of St. Jean the Baptist grammar school and Bishop Brady High School. After high school she went into the Army to proudly serve her country during Vietnam, upon her honorable discharge from the military she went on to work for the US Postal Service for many years. She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Marie Laverdure and her brothers, Richard and Pierre Laverdure. Monique is survived by her caretaker and good friend, Louise (Daneault) Letendre; her siblings, Jean Laverdure of Concord, Marc Laverdure of Pembroke and Lise Fleuette and her husband Joe of Easton CT; sister-in-law, Irene Laverdure as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 12 Noon at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
