BARNSTEAD – Michael D. Pittaro, Jr., 82, of Barnstead passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Concord Hospital after a brief acute illness. Michael was born in Newark, NJ on September 5, 1942, the son of Michael Pittaro, Sr and Rosemary (LeRoy) Pittaro. Rosemary married Ronald Burke who assisted with raising Michael, Jr. Michael Moved to Littleton, MA. He met his wife of 50 years, Donna (Gyles) Pittaro while working in Ayr, MA. They moved to Barnstead, NH in 1997. Michael worked as a car/RV salesman for many years at Camparama and 1400 Motors. Before retirement Michael worked at Best Buy in Concord in the computer department. Besides his mother, Michael was predeceased by his son, Jim Pittaro and his twin brother, James Pittaro. Members of his family include his wife of 50 years, Donna (Gyles) Pittaro; son, Michael Pittaro and his wife, Danielle of Barnstead and step-father, Ronald Burk of Marblehead, MA. An interment with Military Honors will take place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Town of Barnstead: Welfare Department in Michael's name.
