PEMBROKE - Merrilee (Tyler) Grandmaison, 81, of Suncook, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Epsom Healthcare Center. She was born on August 16, 1942 in Ashland, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Alfred Tyler and Alice (Swain) Lavallee. Merrilee loved her family and was happiest when surrounded by them. She was always there when they needed her, whether it was as a protector, cheerleader or a kick in the butt! She loved going for long rides, shopping, telling stories, laughing and reminiscing about dancing with her late husband, Gerry. We can picture them up there, finally dancing together again. Merrilee is survived by her two children: Brian Grandmaison and his fiance Diane Burns of Shrewsbury, MA and Heather Mudgett and her husband Brian of Pembroke; three grandsons: Tyler Grandmaison and his wife Melissa, Nicholas Mudgett and his partner Allison Mohr, and Joshua Mudgett; four great-grandchildren: Simon, Zephaniah and Theo Grandmaison and Brian Mudgett; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years: Gerard Grandmaison; and her sister: Virginia Johnson. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Pembroke on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11am. Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements.
