DEERFIELD – Mark A. Hogan, 72, of Deerfield, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Concord Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 8, 1952 in Lowell, MA, son of the late Myles J. and Emma (Becker) Hogan.
Mark was employed for over 40 years as a Truck Driver with various companies through the years including BFI, Best Way and Allied Waste before retirement. He was a history buff who enjoyed watching westerns and tinkering in his garage. If you were in his life for longer than a minute then he had already given you a nickname, a true sign he loved you. His sense of humor although sometimes ill timed was like no other, even the nurses couldn't believe he was joking up until the end.
He always put others before himself, he loved kids and animals, especially his dog Scrappy and was an avid Trump supporter.
Besides his parents, Mark was predeceased by three siblings, Keith Hogan, Charlotte Gavin and Stephen Hogan.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Scharn) Hogan of Deerfield, with whom he enjoyed 45 years of marriage, children, Sheri-Lyn Hogan of Deerfield, Mark Hogan of Candia and Katy Hogan of Allenstown, siblings, Myles F. Hogan and Elizabeth O'Connell, four grandchildren, Zachariah, Jaylin and Tasha and Lyrica as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date. The Roan Family Funeral Home-Still Oaks Chapel in Epsom is assisting the family with arrangements. To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com
