Obituary

EPSOM- Mrs. Marjorie P. (Taylor) Babcock, 91, of Epsom, NH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 25, 2025 after a period of declining health. Born in Norwood, MA, Marge was the daughter of the late Howard and Greta (Pudsey) Taylor. She was raised and educated in Norwood and was a graduate of Norwood High School. She spent the majority of her life in Whitman, MA before moving to New Hampshire 14 years ago. Prior to her retirement, Marge was employed as a CNA at the former Regent Park Nursing Home for over 30 years. Marge enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She cherished being outdoors, whether be it walking in the woods, tending to flowers and plants or just enjoying nature. She was predeceased by her brothers: Robert, Lloyd and Donald Taylor. Marge is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Pastor Richard M. Babcock of Epsom; her children, Dennis J. McLeod and his wife Donna of Lexington, SC, Donna Cassidy and her husband Daniel of Middleboro, MA, Deborah Burger and her husband Donald of E. Bridgewater, MA and Darcy L. Willis and her husband George of Taunton; her step-children, Kenneth Babcock of Manchester and Elizabeth Wenrich and her husband David of Rumney; her brother, Earle Taylor; as well as her many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke, NH.
