EPSOM – Marion Francis (Garceau) Wilox, 84, of Epsom, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Concord Hospital.
Born on July 3, 1941, in Boscawen, NH, she was the oldest daughter of the late Joseph Alfred Garceau Jr. and Barbara Ruth (Robinson) Keith, and the beloved wife of 47 years to Charles Richard Wilox Sr. who predeceased her in 2022. While her father logged in southern Quebec, she was raised in Concord by her cherished grandmother, Irene May (Lombard) Garceau. Marion attended school in Concord, graduating from Concord High School in 1959. She then worked and raised her six children in the capitol city, eventually moving to Florida. Marion and Charlie spent more than a decade working for Disney before moving back to Epsom in 2004 to be closer to family and friends.
As a younger woman, she was an avid member of a local snowmobile club alongside her husband, Charlie. A lifelong crafter, she found joy in the time she could spend knitting, crocheting, and participating in other creative endeavors during her retirement. Marion was also a member of the Pembroke chapter of the Rebekahs and enjoyed her time with the Ladies Aid at New Rye Congregational Church in Epsom. Marion's sarcasm and quick wit will be sorely missed by those who love her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was predeceased by her son, Roger Douillette Jr.; son-in-law, Donald Scovil; and brothers, Joseph Garceau III, Robin Garceau, and Bruce Garceau.
She is survived by her sister, Peta Byrnes; her sister-in-law, Beverly Garceau; her children, Bonnie Scovil, James Douillette, Timothy Douillette and wife, Linda, Deborah Griggs and husband, Robert Jr., and Charles "Ricki" Richard Wilox Jr.; daughter-in-law, Virginia Douillette; and 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Marion will be laid to rest with her husband at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 am. Please consider a donation in her memory to your local SPCA. The Roan Family Funeral Home - Still Oaks Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
