EPSOM- Margaret Ann (Sanford) Clark, aged 74, of Epsom, NH, peacefully passed away at her home on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family following a brief battle with cancer.
Margaret, born on January 3rd, 1949, and raised in Walton, Nova Scotia, was the beloved daughter of the late Gordon Sanford and Lillian Madge (Cox) Stitham.
She and her husband, Richard Clark Sr., raised their three children in Milford, NH, St. Johnsbury, VT, and Epsom, NH. Later in life, the couple moved to Nova Scotia to build their dream home on the Bay of Fundy. After a decade of joyful memories, they returned to Epsom to be close to family and friends.
Margaret enjoyed flower gardening, walking, listening to Neil Diamond, road trips to Vermont, and spending time with family. Traditions such as blueberry picking and Christmas cookie decorating with her grandchildren were events held close to her heart. Known for her exceptional kindness, thoughtfulness, and ability to bring laughter to those around her, Margaret's loving and vibrant spirit leaves a lasting impact on the hearts of all who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents, sister Deborah Wing, and youngest son, Robert F. Clark, Margaret is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard Clark Sr., and their two children: Richard Clark Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Epsom, and Katherine Piper and her husband, Corey, of Gilmanton Ironworks. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Ashley Piper, Emily Piper, Nicole Smith and her husband, Elliot, and Nathan Clark; her sisters: Velma Forsythe, Jean Boothby, and Joan Abbott; sisters-in-law Jackie Hackett and Janet Paquette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
